Yuji was born on January 20th, 1951 as the eldest son of a Seattle, Washington born Father of Japanese descent and to a Mother with a proud heritage that can be traced back to the Feudal Age of Japan's history.
Yuji has always been fascinated by art, and received may rewards in his academic years.
He was raised in a loving home in affluent times.
Although he went to study art during college, he was bitten by the business bug, and started a small hamburger shop during the summer in an area of Japan called Shonan.
This small business enterprise was a great success, and that is how Yuji got involved with business and the retail industry.
After graduating from college, Yuji was employed by a supermarket chain where again he was blessed by great success and excelled. There he was scouted by various companies.
After achieving satisfactory results and having solidly developed his career, Yuji went into business for himself.
Not surprisingly Yuji started to receive media exposure for his successes as a lecturer, a management consultant and for his work as a "Management Theorist" there after Yuji was being asked to assist companies big and small.
As to date Yuji has consulted for literally hundreds of companies in just as many fields.
He does all this while working as an Associate Professor at Chubu Gakin & Tanki College, while still maintaining his lecture schedule and his art work and radio appearances.

On March 20th, 2004 Yuji was honored by the City and County of Honolulu, by having that day being named in honor as "Yuji Kato Day."
He was further honored in a written declaration for his friendly relations between Japan and the United States and in particular the people of Hawaii, by the State of Hawaii & Governor Linda Lingle.
That same day Yuji had his first ever International art show in Honolulu at the Anthony Cassey Gallery.
He has now made his start as an International Artist, doing his "Healing Flowers of Love."
Today Yuji's artwork can be found in a new product that has started a new line called, "Yuji!" Yuji brand has created everything form kimonos and other clothing products, to calendars and other small items, all products are approved by Yuji himself.
Yuji has currently thirteen text only books, currently in Japanese only, and two picture books, also in Japanese.
Yuji's books are currently being translated into English and a few will be available to order soon! Yuji is the founder of Genki Group, and the Genki Shiteru Kai lecture circuit located throughout Japan, Hong Kong, and occasionally in Honolulu Hawaii.

Yuji Kato is a super versatile person who spends 250 nights per year domestically and abroad, supporting many people and their companies.
